Rudi van Houts misses podium at Benelux Cup Noorbeek

Noorbeek, The Netherlands - In the Dutch village of Noorbeek the next race of the Benelux Cup was held. The race site was the same venue as the 2007 national champs were held. Without Bart Brentjens and Chris Jongewaard (both injured) at the startline it was up to Rudi van Houts and Tim Wynants to show what they've got. Rudi had a good race until halfway when he fell a bit back. The Dolphin-Trek rider just got back from the Canberra worldcup race and was feeling still a bit tired. In the end the race was won by Belgian specialist Davy Coenen in front of Bas Peters and teammate Jimmy Tielens. Van Houts finished 4th overall and Wynants 30th. From the Bejan-Dolphin team Onno Reijnhout finished 22nd overall.
Both Van Houts and Wynants will travel to the last worldcup race of 2008 in Austria's Schladming.
